This looked like it worked amazing especially after reading all the comments. I'm just curious I've always been told to never use bleach on mould. Is that a lie? Or is it for certain types of mould? What's the reasoning behind that?

Just finished doing 40 metres of eaves that haven't been cleaned for 18 years. Followed your instructions and they came up like new. I'm 82 so if I can do it so can others. Needs a bit of elbow grease but I just took it nice and slow.

Fibrafuse is good, but what makes a lot of difference is the type of compound used. Durabond is best as the first coat. I,ve done hundreds of wall repairs in the past 40 years.

OMG I wish I had found this last year I purchased a new powerhead then when it stopped I knew it would be something simple. I'd always cleaned the roller brush but didn't know about that last trick. You're a life saver and great simple explanation!

@3:55 that is exactly the wrong method to use. Never use detergent to spray on silicone. It will get behind the dead spaces you left and cause mold and mildew because even after you run your finger on it the silicone will not stick to the tile. At least you kept your finger clean but the caulk job is completely ruined. Never ever use detergent of any type it will not adhere to anything after it is used. Terrible advice.

What about the little gaps where the washing detergent went inside? The silicone will never stick to those. This method is pretty but only until the gaps start filling up with water and then turn to mold.
